DIRTY RED “DA GIFT”:  I come from a long line of musicians so it’s been passed down through generations of gospel singers, blues singers, and of course rap and r&b.

IAA:  What inspired you to pursue music?

DIRTY RED “DA GIFT”:  Pursuing music was inevitable and was instilled in me. I had a passion for music from as far back as I can remember. I loved performing, rapping, and singing at a young age at family functions. As I got older I just pressed harder towards it and got more serious with it. I have dedicated my life to making it my career.

IAA:  What are your songs about?

DIRTY RED “DA GIFT”:  My songs are about life experiences ranging from love, passion, and pain.  I try to rap about things going on in my life, going on around me, and current events. I can only speak the truth, “How it is, is what it is.”

IAA:  Do you write your own music?

DIRTY RED “DA GIFT”:  Yes I do, no ghost writer needed. Not only do I write my own music, I also write for other artists in every genre.

IAA:  Who are your musical influences?

DIRTY RED “DA GIFT”:  First and foremost my family have been a strong influence.  I definitely have to say I have been influenced by Tupac, Scarface, R Kelly and last but definitely not least Michael Jackson to name a few. So many different artists have influenced me, but these artists have made the most impact with me when it comes to my musical career.

IAA:  How would you describe your music to people?

DIRTY RED “DA GIFT”:  My music is real life no holds barred everyday everybody music. My music is relatable to everyone. I have a song for every occasion and every kind of listener.

IAA:  What makes you stand out from other artist?

DIRTY RED “DA GIFT”:  I have a unique sound of my own, and as I said earlier I have music everybody can enjoy. I have music for every kind of occasion and every kind of listener. There is no box for me. I’m not just a rapper or singer. I am a true artist that express myself in all of my work. I produce, I arrange, I master, I mix and I can play any instrument I touch.

IAA:  What are some upcoming projects, you are currently working on?

DIRTY RED “DA GIFT”:  Right now I’m in the studio working on my newest album self-titled “Da Gift.”  I’m doing a lot of collaborations with well respected names in the industry who’s names will be revealed when my album comes out.  I don’t want to give up the goodies yet, but I know the people are going to love it. I’m about to start a short 11 city promo tour to begin midsummer. Right now I’m currently performing all over Southern California.

IAA:  What are your career goals? Where do you see yourself in 10years?

DIRTY RED “DA GIFT”:  I want to boost my record sales, raise my company, sign artists, gain a phenomenal fan base, and make a major impression on the music industry. I see myself an established entrepreneur and mogul owning a fortune 500 business. I want to give opportunities to those with similar goals and ambitions.

Then wait no further because Derek Allen, better known by his stage name Tunez Bol, hailing from Philadelphia, has entered the building destined to do just that. More than a talented Rap MC, Tunez Bol has also been an established writer & producer since the age of 17. Knowing from an early age since that he was musically inclined, Tunez Bol would often get caught drumming unique beats on his school desk.  As a producer, Tunez Bol has stepped outside of the box going beyond being an electronic producer and learning to play the piano and guitar. Going a step further with producing, Tunez Bol has produced several projects for other artists in various genres. IAA:  What is your music background?

TUNEZ BOL: I’ve always had a strong passion for music. My parents were very out going when I was a child and influenced me musically.  I was raised listening to my mother play artists such as Phyllis Hyman, Michael Jackson, Teena Marie and Whitney Houston. My Father enjoyed a lot of soul music as well as funk – especially George Clinton. I first fell in love with hip after my brother introduced me to it.

IAA:  Why do you want to record and release your own music?

TUNEZ BOL: I want to record and release my own music because I feel that I have something new to bring to the table. In this day and age artists are afraid to be different. Everyone follows the trends or does whatever is popular at the time. The world needs more originality and I believe I have what it takes to help start this movement.

IAA:  What are your songs about?

TUNEZ BOL: My songs are about my experiences I have in life. I write about relationships, partying and my religious and political values. I pretty much touch on every subject I have ever experienced.

IAA:  Who is your fan base directed towards?

TUNEZ BOL: My fan base is aimed for men and women between the ages of 18 – 40. I make music that people of any age can relate too.

IAA:  Who are your musical influences?

TUNEZ BOL: My musical influences are DMX, Timbaland, Styles P, Dr Dre, Common, Quincy Jones, 50 Cent, Beanie Sigel and Jay Z. These are the artist and producers who have had the biggest influence on my music.

TUNEZ BOL: My music is brings a unique listening experience to my audience. While other artists are so pressed on trying to fit in, I try my best to stand out. So when you put on a Tunez Bol cd you know your gonna vibe out on a whole different level.

TUNEZ BOL: My delivery, my voice and my lyrics make me stand out from others. I don’t believe there is anyone that sounds like me. Along with catchy hooks and bouncy beats, I believe I have my own sound.

TUNEZ BOL: Currently I am working on my 3rd installment to the “Stay Tuned” mix-tape series. I am also working on production for various artist worldwide and continuing to develop my brand

TUNEZ BOL: I have several goals I’m looking forward to achieving such as, getting a distribution deal, becoming a household name in the industry, establishing myself as one of the top producers in the game and building my record label to be a well established company. IAA:  What is your music background?

ESE TEXAS:  My music background is a mix of diversities ranging from hip hop and rap to Mexican rap and Chicano rap. My background also includes r&b and ballad love songs.

IAA:  What inspired you to pursue music?

ESE TEXAS:  The things that inspired me to pursue music was the love I have for music and how the feelings and emotions that one can express in the form of music. Music drives me to be a voice for others as well as being in comparison with a diversity of people with similar goals, in life and struggles.

ESE TEXAS:  My music is a mix of themes from sad lonely, to love and uncertainty, to the regular dark and gritty music that expresses the feelings and desires one holds within.

ESE TEXAS:  Yes, I write my own music. You can always take pride in what you accomplish and for me its being heard, recognized, and understood.

IAA:  Who are your musical influences?

ESE TEXAS:  My musical influence is a huge selection of artist ranging from Lil Rob to Lil Wayne. My main influence was Carlos Coy aka SPM. His music was not just music, it was a part of his history and I can relate to that in my music.

IAA:  How would you describe your music to people ?

ESE TEXAS:  My music is mostly story telling with a mix of uplifting and devastating outcomes.  The new projects I’m working on has uplifting beats to dance too. I also hope to get a great reaction of my fans.

IAA:  What makes you stand out from other artist ?

ESE TEXAS:  To be honest I stand out from other artists because of the amount of focus and detail I put into my work. I try to make myself stand above other artists while creating music the fans love.

IAA:  What are some upcoming projects, you are currently working on

ESE TEXAS:  My upcoming project will be a new album that allows my fans the chance to get to know different aspects of my life. I want my fans to understand where I come from and how I changed and made history along the way. ESE TEXAS:  10 years from now I see myself in the music industry assisting the communities. I want to help create foundations for unsigned artist, as well as children and teenagers who want to pursue music. My other career goal is to complete my degree in management.

Rapper/Poet/Songwriter C.H.I (Creative, Humble, Intellectual)  is hitting the music scene hard and fast.  Known for his lyrical delivery, versatility, and dynamic stage presence, C.H.I. is here to stay.   C.H.I.  pours his heart and soul into each song and continues to show growth as an artist, businessman, and most importantly, a man.

IAA:  What is your music background?

C.H.I:  My main focuses with music are songwriting and performing. I have taken courses on classical music and popular music, so that has given me a more widespread knowledge of music.

IAA:  Why do you want to record and release your own music?

C.H.I:  I love being able to express myself through the art of rhythm and poetry and also rhythm and blues.

IAA:  What are your songs about?

C.H.I:  I consider myself a versatile artist. My music focuses on inspiring people. I want to create a balance between partying and becoming successful.  My music is about concepts within relationships such as sex, love, and heart break.

IAA:  Who is your fan base directed towards?

C.H.I:  My fan base consists of teenagers and young adults. I direct my music towards people who can relate to many different aspects of life

IAA:  Who are your musical influences?

C.H.I:  My top 3 musical influences are Kanye West, Jay-Z, and Tupac. I like Kanye because of his determination and drive. His music is also very unique, which I love. I like Jay-Z because of his lyricism. His tape “Hard Knock Life” is actually the first full tape I can remember listening to. I like Tupac because of his me against the world attitude and his poetic style.

IAA:  How would you describe your music to people?

C.H.I:  I would describe my music as being relatable. You may not relate to every song, but you will know someone who can relate to the songs you don’t.

IAA:  What makes you stand out from other artist?

C.H.I:  I would say my versatility of being able to talk about many different concepts makes me stand out.

IAA:  What are some upcoming projects you are currently working on?

C.H.I:  I have three projects in the works. My solo mix-tape “Poetic Thoughts in a Musical Mind vol.3” which includes songs and poems. I’m working on an album with my long time musical partner EJay. The last project I’m working on is a mix-tape with the team I and EJay created called D&V (Diverse & Versatile). The team consists of  rappers YD, D Webb, & Pat Clark and producers SheSmacksHard & Tyler On The Beat, and model Alexis Howes.

IAA:  What are your career goals? Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

C.H.I:  I plan to reach the point of winning many Grammy’s. I also plan on having my team I started with on the same level as myself. Lastly, I want to help be the reason for change in the young community. In ten years, I see myself running my label and being able to come back to my high school and having a scholarship fund in my name for the students.

Zaiah1Falling in love with music as a child, Zaiah Da Playa knew music was his passion. With a strong background in concert, jazz, and marching band, Zaiah fell in love with the piano and taught himself how to play  by ear. Because of his love for musical instruments he eventually started composing and producing his own songs. His production skills paired with his melodic voice proved to be a powerful combination.  Zaiah Da Playa is more than just a newcomer on the music scene, he has the talent and skill set to be a staple in today’s music arena.

ZAIAH DA PLAYA:  My music background consists of classical, jazz, marching band, r&b, hip hop, and pop.

ZAIAH DA PLAYA:  I was inspired to do music because I believe that people really need to hear something different, fresh, and original.

ZAIAH DA PLAYA:  I am influenced by Jamie Foxx, Tank, Ryan Leslie, T-Pain, Omarion, John Legend, Timberland, 9th Wonder, J-Dilla, and a very good friend of mine, name Lesean Gilbert. Lesean Gilbert inspired me to do music in the first place.

ZAIAH DA PLAYA:  My music is different. I provide a fresh sound and a lot of soul due to my church background.

ZAIAH DA PLAYA:  I stand out from other artists because I am unique and I am not tied down to one specific type of genre.
